"Since graduating from Dartmouth, I have been living in San Francisco and working as a UX (User Experience) Designer at Nutanix, a technology company focused on the datacenter infrastructure space. There were so many things I learned about attention and information processing in my cognitive science major that are related to my work in the UX field. I still read several design and psychology books and articles that make me nostalgic for my cognitive science classes- the academic background studying how people pay attention, perceive things, communicate, and make decisions still feel very relevant to my job and life today."
