Cara Van Uden (’19) has won this year's Neukom Prize

Cara Van Uden (’19) has won this year's Neukom Prize for Outstanding Undergraduate Research in Computational Science.  Cara worked in James Haxby’s laboratory and published a paper, "Modeling Semantic Encoding in a Common Neural Representational Space" on her research last year in Frontiers in Neuroscience as first author.  Cara is a double major in Cognitive Science and Computer Science and also received High Honors for her senior thesis, advised by James Haxby, Yaroslav Halchenko, and Lorenzo Torresani.
