Cooper Lab
Cooper Lab: Perception, Computation, and Technology
The Cooper Lab is part of Dartmouth's interdisciplinary Program in Cognitive Science and the Department of Computer Science.
How we see shapes what we think, what we believe, and what we trust. Our lab studies the science behind sight. Our research combines behavioral experiments and computational modeling to ask how the human visual system makes sense of the world. We apply those insights to understand and improve emerging technologies and societal challenges. You can learn more about our research at our website.
We work with students and researchers at all stages, from undergraduates exploring research for the first time to graduate students and postdocs to faculty collaborators. If you are curious about vision, computation, or both, we would love to hear from you. Email emilycooper@dartmouth.edu and tell us a little about your background and interests.
